Our products are for adults. You must be 18 or older to buy from us or use the site.

Information you give us

  • Order details — name, email address, phone number, shipping address, billing address, what you ordered, and your order history.
  • Account details — if you create an account, your username and password (stored encrypted).
  • Subscription details — if you subscribe, the plan, renewal dates and billing record needed to keep it running.
  • Messages — anything you send us by email or through a form on the site.
  • Reviews and content — any review, photo or testimonial you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, the pages you visit, the time and date, how long you stay, and the site or ad you arrived from.
  • Session activity — we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used: clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages visited in a session. This is used to find broken or confusing parts of the site. Clarity is configured to mask text typed into form fields.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the table below.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your card number, expiry and security code go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only what we need to recognise the payment: the card brand, the last four digits, the result, and the billing details you entered. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking we actually use

These are the third parties that load on jiggle.cafe and what each is for. Some are necessary for the shop to work; the analytics and advertising ones are not.

Being straight with you about timing: at the moment the analytics, advertising and marketing tools above load when you arrive, rather than waiting for you to opt in. We are telling you that plainly instead of implying otherwise. If you would rather not be measured, these are your options:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or browse in a private window.
  • Opt out of Microsoft Clarity and Bing-related tracking at choice.microsoft.com.
  • Turn off ad personalisation in your Meta, TikTok and Google account settings.
  • Turn on “Do Not Track” or a tracker-blocking extension. Note that many sites, including ours, cannot currently detect that signal reliably.
  • Email ca**@****le.cafe and ask us to delete what we hold about you.

How we use your information

  • To take payment, ship your order and handle returns or problems.
  • To run subscriptions, including renewals, retries on a failed payment, pausing and cancelling.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To send order and shipping confirmations, and a reorder reminder roughly two weeks after an order is delivered. These relate to your purchase.
  • To send marketing email if you asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To measure and target advertising.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and spam, and to keep the site secure.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with parties that need it to do a job for us, and only for that job:

  • Payments — Stripe.
  • Shipping — the carrier handling your parcel, which needs your name and address.
  • Hosting and infrastructure — our host, which stores the site and its database on servers in the United States.
  • Email delivery — Mailchimp, which sends our marketing email.
  • Analytics and advertising — the companies named in the table above.
  • Customer records — HubSpot.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities — where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
  • A buyer — if the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of it. We will say so here if that happens.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising platforms such as Meta and TikTok can count as “sharing for targeted advertising” (and in some states as a “sale”) under certain state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time by emailing ca**@****le.cafe with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line, or by using the browser and platform controls listed above.

If you bought from a marketplace

We also sell on Amazon and Walmart Marketplace. If you bought there, that marketplace collected your information under its own privacy policy and passes us only what we need to fulfil and support the order. This policy covers what we do with it from that point.

How long we keep it

  • Order and tax records — kept while legally required, generally at least seven years.
  • Account and subscription records — kept while your account or subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Support messages — kept while useful for handling follow-up questions.
  • Marketing contacts — kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Analytics data — kept according to each provider’s retention settings; Clarity recordings expire automatically.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor. Access to customer records is limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and will tell you if a breach affects your information and the law requires notice.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can email ca**@****le.cafe and ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you,
  • give you a copy of it,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete it,
  • stop using it for marketing or targeted advertising.

We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, normally within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

California

If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to — all set out in this policy. You may also opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, and you may use an authorised agent to make a request. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit.

Other US states

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, have broadly the same rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, and opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. Use the same email address and we will handle it under your state’s law, including any right to appeal a decision.

EEA and UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (taking and delivering your order), your consent (marketing email and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (securing the site, preventing fraud, understanding how the site is used), and legal obligations (tax and accounting). You have the rights listed above plus the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Where your information goes

We are based in the United States and our website and records are stored on servers in the United States. If you are outside the US, using the site means your information is transferred there, where privacy laws differ from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Marketing email

We send marketing email only to people who asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. You will still receive transactional messages about orders you placed, such as confirmations and shipping updates, because those are part of the purchase.

Children

Our products contain caffeine and are sold to adults only. The site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, email ca**@****le.cafe and we will delete it.

Other sites

Our site links to other places, including our social media profiles and the marketplaces we sell on. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before sharing anything with them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site. Please check back from time to time.
